How does Scalapay work?

Scalapay is an innovative system that allows customers to buy immediately by paying in 3 equal installments of the same amount without any interest!

Select Scalapay as your payment method at checkout.


After confirming your order details, you will be prompted to log into your Scalapay account to complete your payment. If you don't have one, you can create one from the Scalapay login page before finalizing your order.

Add a debit, credit or prepaid card from which installments will be taken.

Wait for the approval of the payment, once received, with the finalization of the order will pay the first installment, the following will be charged in the next two months.


An email will remind you of the payment of the installment.

 

 

Installment due dates


At the time of purchase you will be immediately charged the first installment. The next 2 installments will be charged monthly.

  • First installment: at the time of purchase
  • Second installment: 1 month from the day of purchase
  • Third and last installment: 2 months from the day of purchase.

Scalapay will inform you a few days before the expiration of each installment via SMS and email.

If one or more of the scheduled installments are not paid correctly by the due date, you will be charged a late payment fee. If you have not made a payment before the scheduled due date and the automatic payment fails, you will have 24 hours to complete the payment. If this does not happen, Scalapay will charge late payment fees as explained below:

  •  Payment made by the due date = no additional fees!
  •  Payment made more than 1 day late = up to 6 euros extra charge
  • Payment made more than 1 week late = additional €6 (in addition to the first fee, up to a maximum of €12 per payment).

The total cost of fees may not exceed 15% of the loan value (second and third installments).

 

Accepted Payments


To use Scalapay, you must link a payment method to your account. The installments will be automatically charged to your default method.
Scalapay accepts all major credit and debit cards of the VISA, MASTERCARD and AMERICAN EXPRESS circuits and major prepaid cards (including Postepay). 

All customers who place an order establish a commercial relationship with GIANNINI SRL and therefore undertake to accept delivery of their package.  If for any reason the Customer refuses the delivery of the shipment or requires the return to the sender, any shipping costs, charged to GIANNINI SRL, will be deducted from any refund due to the Customer.

Orders are shipped by GIANNINI SRL (via express courier TNT and DHL), from Monday to Friday, from 9:00-17:30 (CEST). The orders carried out during weekends will be processed from the next Monday morning.

During times of promos and/or sales shipping costs may vary.

We would like to remember our new customers that GIANNINI SRL might  require Paypal to verify the transaction, also contacting the bank counterpart, before the charge takes place on the customer's credit card. The aforementioned check might cause some delay in the shipping of your first order.

N.B.: Shipping to Russian Federation cannot be delivered to individuals.

GIANNINI SRL reserves the right to request new customers the shipping of merchandise at the address of billing.

Orders of items already available are shipped the first working day following to the order day, prior confirmation of merchandise availability and of bank verification for our new customers.

Credit card will be charged on the order day.

During the period of sales or promotions, shipping might require longer times.

In every instance GIANNINI SRL reserves the right of postponing the shipping in case of events of force majeure.

Shippings in Italy and abroad are effectuated with express courier from GIANNINI SRL. As requested by commerce laws, all shippings have attached an invoice which declares each single article value in Euro. When articles are on sale, the invoice reports the discounted amounts.

GIANNINI SRL's shippings are insured for free against theft and accidental damage insurance. Although, once that the shipping reaches destination, the insurance lose its validity.

The assortment on www.gianninishoponline.com reflects the exact availability of each item by size and color. In fact, the website is connected in real time with all the warehouses belonging to GIANNINI SRL thanks to a system created by the company MagicStore, synonymous with computer security and precision. Once the order request has been received, the Orders Department reserves the right to reconfirm the availability of the purchased items, the validity of the credit card transaction and to verify the details of previous transactions made by the Customer on www.gianninishoponline.com. In the event that the items ordered are not available, or if for some reason the order cannot be processed as requested by the Customer, the Orders department will promptly notify the Customer.

Information on Returns, Exchanges and Right of Withdrawal

Return and Exchange Policy


If the Customer is not satisfied with the purchase made, unused, undamaged items that comply with the conditions set out in this notice may be returned in order to obtain:
•    a refund of the amount paid;
•    a size exchange;
•    a color exchange, where available.


The shipment of returned goods is the responsibility of the Customer until the goods are actually received at the Seller's warehouse. The Seller shall not be liable for any loss, damage or delays attributable to the carrier or to inadequate packaging.
Items must be returned using suitable packaging and including all documentation that may be required for handling the return request.
All returned products will be checked by the Seller to verify their compliance with the conditions set out in this notice. If any action is required to restore the product to a resaleable condition, the Seller reserves the right to apply a reduction to the refund proportionate to the decrease in value of the goods, within the limits permitted by applicable law.

Unless otherwise provided for by applicable law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to products made to measure or clearly personalized, to sealed goods that are not suitable for return for hygiene reasons or reasons related to health protection and that have been opened after delivery, nor to the other cases expressly provided for by Art. 59 of Italian Legislative Decree 206/2005.

Return Procedure

The Customer may exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 days of receiving the goods.

If the Customer has a registered account

In accordance with the applicable provisions in force from 19 June 2026, the right of withdrawal may be exercised directly through the dedicated function available in the reserved area of the website.
Procedure
1.    Log in to your account.
2.    Go to the "Orders" section.
3.    Select the relevant order.
4.    Click the "Request Return", "Make a Return" button or any other equivalent wording.
5.    Fill in the online form, indicating the items to be returned. Indicating the reason for the return, where requested, is optional and used exclusively for statistical purposes and to improve the service.
6.    Confirm the request using the final "Start Return" button or equivalent.

Submitting the request generates an automatic confirmation on a durable medium (for example by email) and allows the Customer to monitor the status of the request.


If the Customer placed the order as a Guest

The Customer may exercise the right of withdrawal by completing the return form made available by the Seller and sending it according to the methods indicated on the website.
For this purpose, within 14 days of receiving the goods, the Customer must send a request to the e-mail address
info@gianninishoponline.com, attaching the completed return form or clearly indicating the items they wish to return.
The communication must specify the codes of the items subject to return and any other information useful for identifying the order. Once the request has been received, the Seller's customer service will send a written confirmation containing the instructions to follow for returning the goods.

Size or Color Exchange Procedure

Within 14 days of receiving the goods, it is possible to request an exchange exclusively for:
•    a different size of the same item;
•    a different color of the same item, if available.

It is not possible to replace the product with a different item. Only one exchange may be authorized for each order.
To request an exchange, the Customer must contact the support service within the above-mentioned deadline through one of the following channels:

The request must indicate the order number, the code of the item to be replaced and the new size or new color requested.
Once the request has been received, the Seller's customer service will send a written confirmation containing the instructions to follow for returning the goods and for the subsequent shipment of the replacement product.
The methods for managing shipping costs relating to the return of the goods and the subsequent redelivery of the replacement product will be agreed with the Customer through the support service, based on the specific needs of the order and the commercial conditions applicable at the time of purchase. Unless otherwise indicated, any accessory costs (such as, by way of example, cash on delivery) remain the responsibility of the Customer and are non-refundable.

Conditions for Acceptance of Returns

In order to benefit from a refund or exchange, the Customer must comply with the following conditions:
•    Items must be returned intact and complete with all accessories that may have been received.
•    Any tags, warranty seals, identification labels and original packaging must be present and intact.
•    Products must not have been used beyond what is necessary to verify their nature, characteristics and functioning.
•    Products must not show signs of use, washing, alteration, damage or wear.
•    Items must be returned in packaging suitable to ensure their integrity during transport.
•    Delivery to the carrier appointed for the return must take place within 14 days of the withdrawal notice.

If the returned goods show a decrease in value resulting from handling other than that necessary to verify their nature, characteristics and functioning, the Seller may withhold from the refund an amount corresponding to the assessed loss in value.
In the event of failure to comply with the conditions indicated above, the return may be refused and the product returned to the Customer at their own expense.

Right of Withdrawal

Pursuant to European legislation and the applicable Consumer Code, the Customer who qualifies as a consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract without being required to provide any reason within 14 days.
The period starts:
•    from the day on which the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer, acquires physical possession of the goods;
•    for service contracts, from the day on which the contract is concluded.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer must send an explicit statement of their decision to withdraw from the contract by means of:
•    the dedicated online function available in the personal area of the website (where available);
•    the withdrawal form made available by the Seller;
•    any other unequivocal statement sent through the channels indicated by the Seller.

Following receipt of the request, the Seller will send confirmation of receipt of the withdrawal on a durable medium without delay.
The Customer is required to return the goods within 14 days of the withdrawal notice.

Refund

In the event of a validly exercised withdrawal, the Seller will refund all payments received from the Customer, including any standard delivery costs incurred for the initial shipment of the order. Direct costs for returning the goods remain excluded from the refund, unless otherwise indicated by the Seller.
The refund will be made within 14 days of receipt of the withdrawal notice.
However, the Seller may withhold the refund until the goods have been received or until the Customer has provided proof of having shipped them, whichever occurs first.
The refund will be made using the same means of payment used by the Customer for the initial transaction, unless otherwise agreed between the parties.
Any additional costs resulting from the choice of delivery methods other than the standard delivery proposed by the Seller remain excluded from the refund.

Final Provisions

For anything not expressly regulated by this notice, the provisions of the Consumer Code (Italian Legislative Decree no. 206 of 6 September 2005), the Italian legislation in force and the legislation of the European Union on distance contracts and consumer protection shall apply.
